18NiCrMo5 is a steel with good mechanical properties, suitable for carburizing heat treatment; In fact, among the special surface hardening steels, it is the most famous and used steel in Italy. It has medium-high hardenability and good machinability. It can be provided in the form of rolled bar, peeled bar, drawn bar and forged bar. It is widely used to produce wearing parts, such as gears, pinions, bushings, camshafts.
